The final day of the 2025 Perth SVNS is here with Australia and Argentina crowned champions at HBF Park.
The Aussie men went down to Argentina in the Final after outlasting South Africa in extra time in the semi-finals

But the story was the women after defeating New Zealand in the Final for their first home win since 2018.

France have survived a late yellow card to take bronze with a 14-7 win over Canada
Florence Symonds gave Canada the lead with a fourth minute try for a 7-0 lead.
However, France refused to give up and scored twice to secure the win
Spain have cemented their status as a title contender after claiming third place over South Africa.
The Spanish held on for a 14-7 lead after two yellow cards allowed Eduardo Lopez to score the opener.
South Africa responded, only for Jaime Manteca to score the winner in the last two minutes
Injuries to James Turner, Henry Hutchison and Hayden Sargeant have thrown debutant Hadley Tonga into the starting side for Australia's Final against Argentina.
Tonga has featured just once this weekend but will start alongside Ben Dowling and Josh Turner.

Japan have scored after the siren for a 29-22 win over the USA.
Minako Taniyama was the hero as she raced away for the winner after the scores were tied late.
Suzuha Okamoto's double helped Japan overcome a ten point deficit for the win.
Fiji have taken fifth thanks to a 17-5 win over France.
Terio Veilawa scored the lone try of the half before the Fijians kicked into second gear.
They scored two second half tries to secure the win and fifth place.
Thalia Costa has singled handled delivered Brazil the win over China.
Costa got a hat-trick as they secured the 21-19 win for seventh place.
This included a last-minute try as the speedster raced away for the try
Great Britain have taken down Uruguay 33-7
Morgan Williams got a double on either side of the break to get the Brits home.
They scored 26 second half points to secure the win and seventh place

New Zealand have stormed into the women’s decider with superstar Michaela Brake spearheading a 36-7 win over France.
Brake scored her side’s opening four tries in a lop-sided affair as France crumbled under the Black Ferns’ defensive pressure, gifting Brake quick turnover ball to scorch the left wing.
Further tries to Jorja Miller and Dhys Faleafaga after half time rubbed salt in the wound before Les Bleus star Anne-Cecile Ciofani adding a late consolation try.

Huge news for Tim Walsh’s side as Maddison Levi and Faith Nathan are out for their semi-final with Canada.
Levi (broken thumb) and Nathan (concussion) are at long odds to feature for the rest of the day.
It leaves Kahli Henwood and Heidi Dennis to come into the starting side
Argentina are into the Final after a 40-5 win over Spain.
Marcos Moneta was immense as he scored a first half hat-trick.
Los Pumas scored three further second half tries as they eased to victory
Fiji have fought their way to victory for a 26-17 win over Great Britain.
Kelerayani Luvu proved the difference maker, scoring tries either side of the break to give Fiji the lead.
Silika Qalo's late try put the result out of question as they claim seventh,
New Zealand have held on for ninth with a 19-12 win over Kenya.
Kenya looked primed for an upset when they hit the front at half-time 12-7.
But the Kiwis rallied with two straight tries, holding on after a late Kenya try was denied after it just trickled over the in-goal line.
Spain have claimed 11th with a 24-12 win over Ireland.
Juana Stella got a double in the first half as the Spanish took a 19-0 half-time lead.
Ireland rallied but it wasn't enough as Spain claimed the win
Ireland have taken 11th with a 19-17 win over the USA.
Josh Kenny and Inigo O'Brien scored straight after the half-time break and it proved the difference for the Irish to take the win.
Adam Channel and Lucas Lacamp scored late tries but the Irish were never in doubt
The battle for the top Australian try-scorer has been intriguing to watch between Charlotte Caslick and Maddison Levi.
The two superstars traded tries last night and are set to do the same tonight as the Aussies face Canada in the semi-finals.

It's a big afternoon for the Australian sides after a remarkable day two that saw both teams advance to the semis.
Another strong crowd is expected at HBF Park to get behind the hosts, with conditions much cooler thanks to an expected southerly breeze building throughout the day.
