Two-time John Eales Medalist Marika Koroibete concedes his career in the gold jersey is likely up, believing it's time to back the next generation coming through.
Koroibete made the revelation in Queensland as he prepares to play for Panasonic Wild Knights against the Reds at Ballymore.

The 33-year-old has been the Wallabies' best since his debut in 2017, scoring 20 tries in 59 games.
But with Koroibete yet to be picked in 2025, the winger has accepted the reality.
"I think I'm done with the Wallabies. They've got a lot of young outside backs coming up and they're building for the World Cup as well," he told the media.
"It's exciting to see the Wallabies grow and reach their potential and hopefully get the World Cup home in the next two years."
It comes with Olympians Corey Toole and Dylan Pietsch picked on the wing for Saturday's clash with Japan, with the rested Max Jorgensen established as the first-choice after a brilliant 2025.
"They've got a lot of varieties in there, and we've got Filipo, who can get physicality and carry some good yards," he added.
"On top of that, we've got Harry Potter, [Lachlan] Anderson as well. He's on the list there. Peachy, there's great talent there and there's a good future for Australia."
Koroibete will keep his focus on performing well for his Japanese club, who will be out to rebound after last week's defeat in a non-capped trial in Toowoomba.
"I think it's a good opportunity for us to come over to Australia, and it's been happening for a few years now with the Reds," he believes.
"There will be physicality in Super Rugby, especially with the Reds. I think that's a big challenge for us tomorrow for us to lift up to that physicality. If we can manage that, it will be a good season for us coming next year."
