Queensland U18s teams named for first matches at NRTC

The Queensland Reds U18s teams have been confirmed for tomorrow’s historic Academy matches at Ballymore.

The two sides will take on their New South Wales counterparts in what are the first matches at the newly opened National Rugby Training Centre at Ballymore.

Queensland Grey kick off the action against New South Wales White at 1:00pm, before the Queensland U18s side take to the field at 2:30pm.

Sunshine Coast Grammar School scrumhalf Luke Aiken will skipper the Reds U18s side, with Brothers number-eight Charlie Brosnan named vice-captain.

Flyhalf and Brisbane Boys College student Oscar Shaw will lead the Grey team alongside his BBC classmate and Sunshine Coast product Harrison Angel (vice-captain).

Both matches will be streamed via the reds.rugby website and the Queensland Reds Facebook.
