Saturday morning’s Open Training is the perfect chance for members, devoted fans, families and kids to get up close with their Queensland Reds at Ballymore Stadium.
Fans will start arriving for the fun and giveaways around 8am with training kicking off at approximately 8:15am.
It’s the best opportunity to watch the team train and meet the players before the new Swyftx Super Rugby Pacific season gets underway.
So, what’s in store.
From approximately 9:45am or when training finishes, all the players will be free to sign autographs on the sidelines when you can also meet your favourite player.
A 2026 Reds Team poster giveaway is the ideal way to capture the signatures of your favourite players.
Bring along your own Reds gear to get signed as well.
Across the training period, there are some fun activations to keep things moving.
BMS, the Queensland Rugby Union’s major partner, will be operating a marquee with a business card drop competition. Snow cones and popcorn giveaways will be available for fans young at heart.
BOQ will host a marquee with a spin-and-win wheel and giveaways.
VPA will get fans involved with an interactive sporting game plus shaker giveaways.
Keep your eyes open for the Passing Game to test your skill with a large inflatable.
A sausage sizzle, for a gold coin donation, will be on site while Goosey’s Café, behind the grandstand, will be open for coffee and snacks from 7:15am-11:15am.
To stay sun-smart and hydrated, Andy Gourlay and his team from Red Frogs will run a water station with sunscreen, Zooper Dooper giveaways and, of course, complimentary red frogs.
It’s relaxed for you but full-on on-field for the players and coaches with a Round One match against the NSW Waratahs in Sydney (February 13) after trials against the Western Force in Perth (January 23) and against the NSW Waratahs at Ballymore (January 31).
A Reds Membership tent will give you access to all the season ticket options.
