The Queensland Rugby Union and Gullivers are delighted to announce an extension of their partnership at a time when the sports travel experts are expanding their experience-driven travel products.

The QRU and Gullivers are working together to bring to life a wonderful supporter tour to Italy in November to follow the Queensland Reds when they play an Italy XV and Benetton Rugby in Treviso.

This follows the successful tour organised for the United Kingdom and Ireland early last year when the Reds made a pre-season trip to play Bristol and Ulster.

Having the partnership locked in for 2026 means Reds members and commercial partners will continue to benefit from exclusive tour offers and opportunities.

You'll see the new Gullivers livery on signage at Reds' home games at Suncorp Stadium in Super Rugby Pacific and you can explore travel offerings from Gullivers HERE

Across more than 40 years, Gullivers have enjoyed a trusted connection with the rugby community. This has ranged from school team trips to major tours for events such as the Rugby World Cup. The tailor-made supporter tours and personalised treatment for which Gullivers is renowned has created memories and friendships for life.

“Gullivers is delighted to continue our partnership with the Queensland Reds and QRU for a second season in 2026," Gullivers Chairman Kevin Maloney said.

"As official travel partners, our focus is on creating seamless and memorable supporter tours that complement the Reds’ international fixtures and events, while also supporting players and teams with trusted travel solutions.

"This partnership reflects our shared commitment to excellence and community, and it aligns perfectly with Gullivers’ next phase of growth as we expand and re-energise our brand and sport travel experiences while continuing to deliver tailored travel for the Reds community.”

Gullivers has officially unveiled a bold new chapter in its evolution. The re-energised brand is built around the idea that what brings travel to life are shared passions and meaningful experiences.

Gullivers aims to create journeys that bring people together through sport, culture, learning and discovery.

It's travel designed around what people truly love and care about whether it's a Bledisloe Cup Test, Super Round in Christchurch, the Hong Kong Sevens or a culinary and cultural journey to South Korea.

A commitment to connecting people, places and passions through a LIVE It spirit will be amplified even more.

Mike Jones, Gullivers General Manager of Events, said the opportunity is exciting when pairing the company's expertise for rugby tours with the QRU.

"In recent times, Gullivers and the QRU have partnered for the UK-Ireland tour plus trips to Christchurch and Fiji. Super Round is coming up and there is a lot of anticipation around a supporter tour to Italy," Jones said.

"We had more than 4500 supporters on tours to France for the 2023 Rugby World Cup, our biggest yet, so that appetite for the camaraderie of a tour group to enjoy rugby's different cultures and experiences is very appealing.

"Rugby and the Reds are close to my heart so it's very satisfying to see this partnership continue.

"As ground operator, Gullivers is arranging a lot of the hotels and touring elements for overseas agents so we already know next year's World Cup is going to be huge for rugby and Australia."

QRU Head of Commercial & Consumer Pete Fairbairn said Gullivers have built a trusted connection with Queensland rugby fans over many years.

“Gullivers’ stellar reputation precedes them. They have had a special impact on thousands of Queensland rugby fans throughout their years of operation. It’s a pleasure to extend our partnership with Gullivers and continue to create amazing memories for Queensland Reds members and fans who want to follow our team overseas," Fairbairn said.

“I witnessed the terrific UK & Ireland tour firsthand in February 2025 and know that there will be significant interest in our Italy tour (November 2026) when we launch, in collaboration with Gullivers, in coming weeks.

"On behalf of the QRU, we thank Kevin, Mike, (Head of Marketing) Kellie (Maloney) and the Gullivers team for their partnership and support.”
