As the 2025 year draws to a close, the Queensland Rugby Union (QRU) have extended a further three commercial partners on two-year terms, until the end of 2027.

4BC, Belbaker and HopgoodGanim have been partners for a number of years, aiding the game’s growth throughout the state.

The trio of partners are all longstanding and loyal partners, lovers of Rugby who continue to work with not only the QRU but also within the broader commercial partner network and Rugby community.

4BC

4BC, Brisbane's premier news and talk radio station, spreads the rugby gospel throughout their programming to a significant audience. 4BC is Brisbane’s only commercial news talk station – the station listeners turn to for breaking news, opinions and information on what’s happening locally and around the country.

Listeners can often hear from the likes of Reds Head Coach Les Kiss and QRU Chief Executive David Hanham via exclusive interviews, offering unique insight as well as the chance to win Reds prizes to an audience who lives and breathes Rugby.

“Building on shared success over our long-standing partnership, 4BC is excited to re-sign with the Queensland Reds and QRU for 2026-2027, continuing to unite two like-minded organisations committed to community connection,” 4BC Content Manager Siobhain McConnell said.

“We're proud to continue to work with the QRU and look forward to driving even greater community connections and mutually beneficial outcomes over the next two years!”

With a fleet of nearly 100 coaches operating across South East Queensland, Belbaker not only transports the Queensland Reds to Suncorp Stadium on Super Rugby Pacific matchdays but also throughout the state and beyond for major events such as the Santos Festival of Rugby.

The Queensland Reds bus is proudly used for school runs and private charters, while Reds fixture listings adorn the back of many of the buses in the fleet.

“Belbaker is proud to strengthen our longstanding relationship with Queensland Rugby Union and the Queensland Reds,” a Belbaker spokesperson said.

“Our partnership has been built on shared values and a genuine commitment to Queensland communities, and we’re excited to continue that journey.”

The QRU’s Legal Partner, HopgoodGanim Lawyers, has grown from a local practice founded in 1974 into a leading full service law firm known for delivering exceptional outcomes for their clients, their community, and their people.

"We are incredibly proud to stand alongside the Queensland Rugby Union as their official legal partner,” HopgoodGanim Lawyers Partner Tim Scanland said.

“Each year, we have the privilege of supporting the QRU across their key commercial negotiations and major projects, helping to drive the continued success and growth of rugby in Queensland. Our partnership is built on shared values and a commitment to excellence, and we look forward to many more seasons of working together."

QRU Head of Commercial & Consumer, Pete Fairbairn, thanked all three partners for their ongoing commitment.

“It’s always a positive sign when long-term partners extend their commitment, and I want to acknowledge and thank 4BC, Belbaker and HopgoodGanim,” Fairbairn said.

“These are partners who have worked side-by-side with the QRU for a significant period of time, and have undoubtedly improved the experience of our players, members, fans and other partners. We’re excited to work closely with them for at least the next two years.”
