Isaac Kefu, the son of Wallabies great Toutai Kefu, is starting on his own path in rugby with selection in the Brisbane Grey Under-16s for the Buildcorp Emerging Reds Cup.
The Brisbane Boys’ College schoolboy is an up-and-coming halfback and plays with the Souths club where father Toutai first made his name.
Brisbane Grey, Brisbane White, South-East Queensland and Queensland Country will contest the Emerging Reds Cup at Under-16 level in September.
From the raft of matches, a Queensland side will be selected to compete in the Super Rugby Under-16s.
