The Queensland Rugby community is mourning the passing of Queensland player #732 Peter Stevens.

The backrower played for Queensland on nine occasions from 1961-1965, scoring 18 points for his state (two tries and four penalties).

He represented Queensland against teams including Fiji, France and New Zealand, as well as a touring University of California outfit.

A proud Brothers clubman, Stevens scored 291 points in the butcher’s stripes (13 tries, 36 conversions and 60 penalties).

The QRU will provide funeral details once they are made available.
