Isaac Lucas

Isaac Lucas is one of the most exciting prospects of Australian Rugby as he embarks on his second season with the St.George Queensland Reds.

The youngest (and some say the most talented) of four brothers who all play Rugby, Isaac is a product of the Queensland pathway having represented his state and country at both Schoolboys and U20s level.

Originally signed as part of the St.George Queensland Reds Developing Squad, Lucas impressed coaching staff during the 2019 pre-season with his natural playmaking skills and was handed his Queensland debut in the Reds opening game of the 2019 Super Rugby season against the Highlanders in Dunedin.

After impressing coaching staff in the pre-season, made his Super Rugby debut off the bench in the Reds Round 2 loss to the Highlanders in Dunedin. Played a total eight matches for Queensland and scored his maiden Super Rugby try against the Waratahs at Suncorp Stadium.

Didn’t play the backend of the Super Rugby season after being selected in the Junior Wallabies squad for the U20s World Championships in Argentina.

Made his NRC debut for Brisbane City and went on to start at flyhalf in every match (including a semi-final appearance) and scored a total of 42 points.
