History

2018 saw the introduction of the Super W competition, the premier competition for women’s Rugby in Australia.

The Queensland Reds, New South Wales Waratahs, Fijian Drua and Rugby WA make up the 2026 competition which has been rebranded as Super Rugby Women's.

Proud milestones are being continually set, including a first Reds win over the six-time champion Waratahs in 2026.
