WCF also provides practical support to new and pregnant mothers confronted with perinatal depression and/or anxiety via the Meals for Mums service. Red Frogs is one of the largest harm minimisation support networks for young people in Australia. Our volunteer lead programs are a direct response to our mission to reduce suffering and safeguard a generation of young people. The aim of these programs is to provide early intervention strategies that reduce the risk of harm associated with alcohol and drug use within party culture. This includes being a positive peer presence in alcohol-fuelled environments where young people gather, educating young people on safe partying behaviours, and promoting and providing alcohol-free and/or diversionary activities that engage young people in these environments.
