Initial Queensland Womens XV squad named ahead of National Championships

An initial Queensland Women’s XVs training squad has been named ahead of the National XVs Championships, which will be held in Sydney at St. Ignatius College Riverview, over three days from Friday 24 June to Sunday 26 June.

Players are to assemble at Sunnybank Rugby Club at 6:30pm tomorrow night, Wednesday 4 May, for training.

They also need to email the Team Manager Luke Chippindale (Chippa79@hotmail.com) to confirm their selection and to also send through their contact details and current Date of Birth.

The Women’s National XVs Championship will return to Sydney in 2016 with the best of Australia’s elite XVs players vying for selection in the Wallaroos squad, a year out from the 2017 Women’s
Rugby World Cup.
