The Queensland Rugby Union (QRU) today announced hire services specialists TFH as its newest corporate partner on a three-year deal.

The partnership will see the TFH brand debut on the collar of the iconic maroon St.George Queensland Reds playing jersey when the Reds take the field against traditional rival News South Wales Waratahs tonight at Suncorp Stadium.

TFH raced to assist the QRU by providing temporary fencing around its Ballymore training venue in May after Queensland’s Chief Health Officer recommended the facility be immediately fenced-off as part of the Reds COVID-19 ‘return to play’ health protocols, agreed with the Queensland government.

Executive CEO and Marketing Director of TFH Hire Services Dan Thomas said: “TFH is proudly Queensland owned and operated and we’re delighted to join the Reds for the next three-years.

“Queenslander’s rally together during tough times and we’re so glad we could play a small part in getting the Reds back on the field after COVID-19.

“The Reds rich history is firmly ingrained in Queensland’s culture and they’re supported by such loyal and passionate fans.

“TFH is rapt to be a part of the team and we can’t wait to see the boys run out on Friday night against NSW and do our state proud.”

QRU CEO David Hanham said: “We’re pleased to have another Queensland business partnering long-term with Rugby in Queensland and seeing the benefits of the partnership model we employ, which gives our growing family of sponsors reach across the whole of the state.

“TFH understand the value of the relationships that exist in Rugby and we can drive a return on their investment through our network.

“That TFH have committed to the QRU and the St.George Queensland Reds for the next three years speaks volumes about the planning we’re putting in place for the future – on and off the field.”

TFH is an Australian family owned and operated business with 38 branches nationally.

TFH’s humble beginnings over 25 years ago continue to drive the organisational vision to provide up to date products within the market - and is the reason behind TFH’s continued success in the Australian hire industry.
