Queensland Rugby Union announce partnership with Icon Construction

The Queensland Rugby Union (QRU) has today announced Icon Construction as an official partner of the St.George Queensland Reds for 2021.


Icon is one of Australia and New Zealand’s largest construction companies, with over 80 current projects ranging in size from $0.5 million to $400 million. 

With 158 years of history, the company prides itself on adaptability and their ability to provide for projects of any size, any scale, anywhere. 

The Icon logo will feature on the back leg of the St.George Queensland Reds playing shorts for the 2021 Super Rugby season. 

QRU General Manager (Commercial Operations) Malcolm Watts said: “We are pleased today to announce a partnership with one of Australia’s leading construction service companies in Icon Construction.
 
“The partnership will further support the growth of Rugby in Queensland and we look forward to introducing our newest partner to our network of supporters.” 

Icon’s General Manager Robin Riley said: “We are thrilled to partner with Queensland Rugby Union.
