Queensland have rallied around Isaac Henry in the wake of another devastating injury to the inside centre.

The luckless Red suffered a ruptured patella tendon during his side's Round 4 win over Melbourne Rebels and will miss the remainder of the Super Rugby Pacific season after undergoing surgery.

"This has been some of the most enjoyable rugby I've been involved in for a long time, so there's double disappointment to miss out on what is still ahead for the Reds," Henry said in a statement.

Reds and club teammate Seru Uru said the whole squad was feeling for Henry ahead of Saturday's Round 5 clash with Western Force.

"It's is a big loss for us. He’s been playing a bit of good footy," Uru told media on Monday.

"It’s affected the boys but we’ve managed to stay strong together and keep moving forward."

Reds assistant coach Zane Hilton was "absolutely gutted" to see Henry's return from ongoing foot and hamstring concerns cut short.

"You can only gauge that by how much support he had in the changeroom after the game you know, coaching staff plus playing group totally around him and immersing him, making sure he was ok," Hilton said.

"He’s a tough guy, he’s come back from a lot of injuries before and we’ve got no doubt we probably still haven’t seen the best of Isaac. He'll get back on track and we’ve got no doubt that our off-field staff as well as all of us are all behind him. - we’ll get him back to where he needs to be."

Queensland coach Les Kiss has called on returning centre Hunter Paisami to fill Henry's shoes with Taj Annan also joining the Reds' match-day squad to face the Western Force.
