Conditions are set to be sunny, humid and close to 30 degrees Celsius when the Wallabies and Pumas take the field at Queensland Country Bank Stadium.
While the wind is set to provide some respite, it is the sort of challenge Harry Wilson believes makes taking games up here even better.

“You're going to see a lot of boys from both teams who are going to be struggling at points in the game,” Wilson told reporters at Friday's captains run.
“But that's why we do our pre-seasons, that's why we work so hard on the training paddock: to be ready for it.
“As someone who plays for the Queensland Reds, a January/February pre-season up here, it gets pretty hot. We're prepared for that.
“That's the beauty of taking footy up here. You get different, unique challenges, and it's probably different to playing in Sydney.
“We're ready for that challenge, and we can't wait for it.”
Wilson will be making a return to the side after injuring his knee in Johannesburg.
“It’s great to be back, obviously had a bit of a scare there,” Wilson added.
“When you have a non-contact knee injury you always have some dark fears there. But… [I’d] banged a bit of cartilage, was sore for a few days to a week there, then it settled really well when we got back to Australia last week.
“[I’ve] had a really good week’s prep for this weekend.”
Wilson will be joined by Reds teammate Tom Lynagh who slots back into the side, and while the team will be without veteran Will Skelton, Wilson believes Tom Hooper will be up to face off the Puma challengers.
“He [Lynagh] looks pretty refreshed, to be honest,” Wilson laughed.
“He'd obviously had a big couple of months there, back into Super, into the Lions series, and the way he stood up in those periods was awesome.
“He's such a young fella, getting started into some of the biggest matches you could have, so he'll take plenty of confidence from that.
“Hoops has been awesome for us. You've seen every game he's played this year since getting a gold in the starting jerseys. He's taken it with both hands. For him, he loves the tight stuff. He loves carrying, loves defending, loves just being anywhere around the breakdown.
“Obviously, Skelton’s out is a loss for us. The moment he stepped into the group, everyone was drawn to him, just his personality.
“We all see what he does on the field, but what he does around the group, we'll definitely miss. He loves a joke, but he also loves rugby. He's always talking about rugby.
“He's got so much knowledge, and it's definitely something we'll miss.”
With a crowd close to capacity expected despite the conditions, Wilson backs the Wallabies to put in a strong showing.
“The boys have loved it here,” Wilson said of the side’s week in Townsville.
“Usually, you get used to playing in a few similar stadiums and staying in the same hotels.
“Here, we've had a great week, staying in Townsville, training at some world-class facilities there at [the] Cowboys. Even just the people up here, it's always nice to be around some different people.
“Seeing a few gold jerseys be worn as the weeks come on has been awesome to see.
“We know there's a lot of people who love rugby up here.”
