It may have been seven years between caps, but centre Alysia Lefau-Fakaosilea is enjoying a return to her roots with the Wallaroos.
Lefau-Fakaosilea is one of several Sevens players vying for selection for Saturday's centurion Test against the Black Ferns in Auckland.

The 25-year-old last pulled on the jersey in 2019, storming onto the scene as a teenager.
The cousin of former Wallabies skipper Will Skelton would go on to be named RA Rookie of the Year, eventually turning her focus to the shortened format.
“It’s been seven years so it’s good to be back in the 15-a-side game and get that opportunity to be playing this weekend hopefully,” she said.
“There’s plenty of familiar faces and a few new ones as well…the girls here are amazing and the vibes are up.”
The powerhouse brings winning success over their Kiwi counterparts after claiming the SVNS World Championship in Bordeaux alongside Maddison Levi, Bienne Terita and Tia Hinds.
Lefau-Fakaosilea has enjoyed blending the two programs, reuniting with old teammates Michaela Leonard and Emily Chancellor from her last O'Reilly Cup clash.
“We haven't beaten the Black Ferns but seeing the talent in the group, the trainings that we've had I think once we match them then it's will be pretty exciting," she believes.
“We have a new bunch of faces and then having Maddi Levi and ‘BB’ back into the 15s, we'll see how this weekend goes but really excited especially with the trainings we've been having. The girls have been dominating a lot, especially the forwards.”
The Kiwi-born talent was relishing the chance to return to Auckland for the contest, growing up in the region before resettling in Queensland.
‘It means a lot being Kiwi born but Australia became my second home and is now home," Lefau-Fakaosilea added.
“It is always such an exciting time playing for Australia against New Zealand.”
