Ahead of a historic Super Rugby Pacific season, this year’s Australian champions, the Queensland Reds, have been buoyed by both the addition and retention of multiple sponsors for 2022 and beyond.

Brisbane-based luxury menswear brand Mitchell Ogilvie has come on board as the Queensland Rugby Union’s official Formal Wear partner, while long-term sponsors Westpoint Autos and XXXX have extended their partnerships.

QRU CEO David Hanham said: “It’s an exciting time for the Reds and our partners as we prepare for next year’s inaugural Super Rugby Pacific tournament and the increased international exposure it’s set to provide.

“It’s great to have Brisbane-founded company Mitchell Ogilvie join the Queensland Rugby Union family. As a Queensland brand renowned for their quality suits and customer service, we are looking forward to growing our partnership with them.

“Westpoint Autos and XXXX have both been proud supporters of Queensland Rugby for many years now and we are delighted they have extended their partnerships with us,” said Hanham.

The QRU Senior Executive team will be kitted out in suits from Brisbane based menswear brand Mitchell Ogilvie as part of a new one-year deal with Queensland Rugby.

Westpoint Autos have re-signed for a further two years that will see the family-owned Brisbane-based business continue to supply vehicles for QRU and Reds staff for the transportation of equipment and delivery of Rugby programs for a fourth-straight year.

XXXX have also re-signed and will continue their longstanding partnership with the QRU by providing beer, cider, ginger beer, seltzers and non-alcoholic beer for events and Reds’ home games.
