The Queensland Reds U18s teams have been confirmed ahead of their upcoming fixtures against the Melbourne Rebels U18s and New South Wales Waratahs U18s.

The sides were named after a selection process based on performances in school and club Rugby matches across the state, as well as an internal trial at Easts Rugby Club.

Queensland Rugby Head of Talent Management Paul Carozza said: “We’re excited to have named two very talented Queensland U18s squads.

“This is the next step of the Queensland Rugby pathway for these young players and we’re looking forward to seeing them pull on the jersey.”

The squad will assemble this week ahead of their match against the Rebels in Melbourne this Sunday.

Two teams will then take on New South Wales One and Two at GPS Rugby Club on Saturday July 2.
