Dolphins centre Herbie Farnworth and Queensland Reds ace Tate McDermott have teamed up for a cross-code collaboration to offer footy fans the best ticket deal in town.

The two-for-one ticket offer means fans and families can grab seats at Suncorp Stadium to watch the Dolphins in the NRL on Friday night and the Reds in Super Rugby Pacific on Saturday night.

For just $45 for an adult ticket and $110 for a family of four, it’s massive value with the Melbourne Storm and the ACT Brumbies coming to town as opponents.

“It should be two quality games and we want wins for both our clubs,” Farnworth said with McDermott beside him at Kayo Stadium today.

“It’s good to be back playing at home after a game in New Zealand which is something the Reds can relate to as well.”

McDermott is upbeat about the ticket idea hitting the mark with fans.

“It's a cool idea that the clubs have come up with. Last year worked well and the ticket deal helps both clubs get more fans to the games," McDermott said.

McDermott said his was confident he was on track to be available for selection before the end of the regular season in Swyftx Super Rugby Pacific.

“You want to hit all the strength markers with a hamstring. I’m being integrated into training again at the Reds and I can see the light at the end of the tunnel,” McDermott said.
