The Queensland Reds squad for the Super Rugby Under-16s has been named from the high performers at this week's KDL Property Group Emerging Reds Cup.

A 29-strong squad will prepare for the opening competition match against Victoria at Ballymore Stadium from 1:40pm next Friday, October 3.

On the same bumper day of junior rugby, two Reds Academy Under-14 Development teams will play against each other from 10am.

An interstate Under-15s match between the Reds and NSW Waratahs will also be played.
