The Queensland Rugby Union (QRU) has today announced Ringers Western as their official Corporate and Casual wear partner ahead of the historic 2022 Super Rugby Pacific season.
The Queensland owned country wear brand has signed a three-year sponsorship through 2024 which will see the Reds kitted out in Ringers Western apparel for travel, game days and formal events.
The partnership will also see Reds-branded Ringers Western products, including water bottles, picnic blankets, umbrellas and more, available on the Reds website in the new season.
QRU CEO David Hanham said: “It’s great to partner with iconic Australian country wear brand Ringers Western.
"Like Queensland Rugby and the Reds, Ringers Western are a family brand with a strong connection to country and this great state.
"They are renowned amongst Queenslanders, and we look forward to growing our partnership with them."
Ringers Western Founder Andrew Macdonald said: "Ringers Western couldn’t be more excited to be the official corporate wear partner of the Queensland Rugby Union and Queensland Reds for the next three seasons.
"Like us here at Ringers Western, the Queensland Reds have a deep connection to the country with many of the great past and present players who have pulled on the famous maroon jersey hailing from the country regions of this great state we both call home.
"The Reds encapsulate everything we could hope for in a partner and the opportunity to have this current crop of Reds men’s and women’s players and staff proudly wearing Ringers Western was a natural fit.
"With the recent success both on-and-off the field and commercially for not only the Reds, but also the game of Rugby Union in this country, there’s never been a more exciting time to align Ringers Western with the code I grew up supporting," said MacDonald.
The country clothing company has also fitted out the Reds players and QRU staff with specially branded Reds to Regions work shirts for this week’s annual tour across the state.
