The Queensland Reds are proud to announce Tom Lynagh has re-signed with Queensland Rugby through 2025.

Still just 19-years-old, Lynagh made his Reds debut in Round 1 of the 2023 Super Rugby Pacific season and started at flyhalf in Queensland’s opening three matches and has scored a total of 24 points (6 cons, 4 pens) in four matches.

Currently in his second full year in the Reds program, Lynagh made the move to Australia in 2021 at the competition of his schooling in England.

Lynagh said: "I'm thrilled to be at staying at Ballymore for the next two years.

"I'm learning plenty from the coaching staff and players at the Reds and have enjoyed getting a taste of Super Rugby so far this season.

"It's an exciting time in Queensland and Australian Rugby and I'm looking forward to being a part of it over the next few years."

Reds General Manager of Professional Rugby Sam Cordingley said: "Tom is held in very high regard at the club.

"He has certainly shown this season that he is going to carve his own path in Queensland and Australian Rugby."

The son of Reds and Wallabies great Michael, Tom was born in Italy and attended proud Rugby school Epsom College.

The skilful playmaker was a part of the Harlequins and England Academy system, before signing a deal to join the Reds program mid-way through 2021.
