Westpoint Autos will continue to drive the Queensland Reds through 2025, with the Brisbane dealership inking a two-year partnership extension with the Queensland Rugby Union (QRU).

The family-owned and run business has been partnered with the QRU since 2019, with their logo featuring on the right rear leg of both the Super Rugby Women’s and Super Rugby Pacific shorts.

As the Reds’ and QRU’s official vehicle partner, Westpoint provide their range of quality cars to QRU stakeholders, while the partnership sees the company connect the community with the Queensland Reds at various activations across their dealerships and home games.

QRU CEO David Hanham said: “We’re incredibly pleased to extend our partnership with another Queensland born and bred company in Westpoint Autos, who are extremely well-regarded and recognised within the Rugby community.

“Westpoint’s values of care and connection align with those of the QRU’s and we’re proud to continue our work with them in the future.”

Westpoint Autos Dealer Principal Luke Hawkins said: “We are extremely proud to continue our partnership with the QRU and the Queensland Reds, and excited to see the Super Rugby and Super W teams in action with the Westpoint Autos Group on their playing shorts again for the next two years.

“Our passion for Rugby is deeply embedded in our organisation and celebrating that through the continuation of this partnership means a great deal to us.”

Founded in 1988, Westpoint Autos have a commitment to high-quality service and a care for their community and are proud of the partnership with QRU and Queensland Reds over the past 4 years.

The business also supports a range of local schools, sporting groups, charities and community events, and through continued partnership with the QRU, sees the Queensland community able get closer than ever to their Reds heroes through the use of the Westpoint Autos vehicles.

Reds players will be out and about at Westpoint dealerships during the 2024 pre-season to meet and greet fans, while Reds supporters will get another chance to get up close and personal with their favourite players at the Westpoint ‘Meet the Reds’ activation at Suncorp Stadium next season.
