Inside centre Malaela Su’a made her Queensland and Super W debut in the loss.

Fijiana hit back with tries to Doreen Narokete and Vitalina Naikore, opening up a 12-5 lead for the visitors by the half-hour mark.

The Drua had another pair of tries early in the stanza courtesy of Jade Coates and Naikore, with Vika Matarugu stretching their lead to 27-5 with 20-minutes to play.

Ellie Draper scored a late consolation try for the Queenslanders, bringing the final score to 27-12.
