The Queensland Reds Development XV team has been named to face Brothers at Bond University this Saturday.

The side, who defeated Wests in Toowoomba a fortnight ago, has been bolstered by a number of Reds inclusions, with capped Super Rugby players Lopeti Faifua, Lawson Creighton, Spencer Jeans and Taj Annan set to feature.

Head coach Dale Roberson said: “We were pleased with the team’s performance in Toowoomba against Wests.

“This weekend is another opportunity for some of our best prospects to test themselves, as well as giving a number of our Reds players time on the field together.

“Brothers are always a tough contest and we’re pleased to be able to aid them in their preparations for the 2023 StoreLocal Hosptial Cup season.”

The match will feature nine contracted Queensland Reds, as well as nine Buildcorp Reds Academy members, with Cloncurry product Ben Daniels and Souths backrower John Bryant a pair of new face in the squad this week.

The fixture will kick-off at Bond University at 3:30pm on Saturday.
