A 10-day Gullivers supporters’ tour has been created for fans to follow the Queensland Reds on their landmark tour of Italy in November.

Dates for two matches have now been finalised with the Reds to play an Italy XV on November 20 and partner Benetton Rugby on November 27. Both matches will be played at Benetton Rugby’s home ground at Stadio Monigo in Treviso.

A productive collaboration with partner club Benetton Rugby and the Italian Rugby Federation has made possible Queensland rugby’s first venture to Italy since 1980.

Expanding playing opportunities, with the challenges that international matches always provide, is an exciting part of the Queensland Rugby Union’s strategy to enhance the development of Reds players.

Tour matches against Japan’s Saitama Panasonic Wild Knights are also being finalised to continue a partnership that has flourished with games since 2022.

Matches against the Wild Knights have provided Queensland debuts for the likes of Louis Werchon (2022), John Bryant (2023), Harry McLaughlin-Phillips (2023), Tim Ryan (2023), Massimo De Lutiis (2023), Frankie Goldsbrough (2024), Vaiuta Latu (2025) and Treyvon Pritchard (2025).

Gullivers, the sporting tours experts, have created a highly-appealing tour so fans can enjoy both the Reds and Wallabies playing in Europe in November.

The 10-day supporters’ tour will embrace the Wallabies vs Wales Test in Cardiff on November 21 and the Reds vs Benetton Rugby match.

The cultural and culinary twists built into the itinerary will create an unforgettable supporters’ tour.

Welcome drinks in London, a visit to Windsor Castle, a wine tasting and cellar tour/lunch in Italy, guided walks and excursions to London, Cardiff, Venice, Verona and Padua will keep the pace moving from the first day to the last.

QRU Head of Commercial & Consumer Pete Fairbairn said that he anticipated strong interest in the tour.

“Gullivers tours are always perfectly tailored for rugby fans and this one is no exception,” he said.

"We’re delighted to partner with the Gullivers team to give our Queensland Reds members and fans the opportunity to cheer on the Reds against Benetton, tour Italy and Great Britain and watch the Wallabies take on Wales at Millennium Stadium in Cardiff.

“Having the Gullivers tour group cheering us on in Bristol and Belfast when the Reds toured north in the 2025 pre-season was a real boost.

“There is something special about seeing our supporters in Reds’ kit on the other side of the world. The players get a real kick from it and for the tour group it’s a unique opportunity to get up close and personal with the team.”

The tour will be hosted by a Vintage Reds player.
