Dre Pakeho and Isaac Henry have been paired in the centres for today's Reds Development XV match against Sydney club Easts at Ballymore.

The 2pm (Qld time) game on Ballymore Field 2 will be the genuine match minutes that the players need if any call up to the Reds comes in the weeks ahead.

Pakeho already has the benefit of two games with Queensland's champion Super Rugby Next Gen side. This week, he announced his re-signing on a new two-year deal through 2028.

He will partner with Henry.

The centres will play outside halves James Martens and Finn Mackay who recently had their first steps in Super Rugby Pacific.

There will be a return for winger Heremaia Murray now he has beaten a knee niggle.

Backrower Toby Brial, the young brother of Reds backrower Joe, will be playing for Easts as will Henry's former Wests team-mate Cooper Whiteside.
